  1. Can I send SMSes to non-mundu SMS users?
    Yes, you can send SMSes to people who are not mundu SMS users. You can access the address book on your device for the same.

  2. How many characters does mundu SMS allow to send per message?
    mundu SMS service allows you to type a message up to 700 characters. mundu SMS splits a message with more than 160 characters into two messages and each message is charged separately. Therefore, when you send a long message, you will be charged depending on length of the message sent.

  3. Can I send an SMS to multiple recipients at one go?
    Yes, you can select upto 100 recipients and send an SMS at one go on the mobile platform. However, you can send messages to 1000 recipients at once with Desktop client or when logged into the website.

  4. Can I send Unicode messages?
    Yes. You can send Unicode messages. However, the maximum length allowed for a Unicode message is 64 characters unlike the regular message which is at 160 characters.

  5. Are the sent messages stored on my device?
    Yes, all sent messages are stored in the Sent folder.

  6. Can I send a picture/voice message using mundu SMS?
    No, mundu SMS currently supports only text messages. Our future versions will include support for voice / picture messages.

  7. Can I receive messages in mundu SMS?
    No, you do not receive messages in the current version. The reply (to the SMS) is delivered to your registered mundu SMS mobile number. However, our future versions will include this option.

  8. Can I borrow some credit from my friend's mundu SMS account?
    Yes, mundu SMS allows a user to transfer credits to another account. You can transfer a minimum of $ 0.06 and a maximum of $ 15.
